Top Wrestling MVPs 2020

Hi guys, How crazy has 2020 has been? With everything going on in the world, it seems as if 2021 couldn't come any sooner. However, even with all of this negativity, I think it's vital to try and find some positives.  Despite conditions making it hard for the wrestling industry, many companies have thrived during the pandemic. In particular, some wrestlers have managed to make the best out of a bad situation and continue trying to put on shows for fans whether in person or through streaming sites.  To mark the end of another year, I'm back with my annual wrestling MVP list of the wrestlers who have stood out this year. Just a quick note, most of the stuff I've watched this year is Japanese wrestling (NJPW, DDT and TJPW)! Yuka Sakazaki 2020 has been a great year for in the sense that I've had the time to fully get into Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. For me, it's something I regret not doing earlier because it is full of some amazing wrestlers from Miu, Miyu Yamashita

2018 Wrestling MVP's

Hi guys, First of all, Merry Christmas. Secondly, what a year 2018 has been for wrestling - there's been ups and downs but in the end of it, without wrestling, my life would've been very different. Wrestling really isn't what it is without the wrestlers themselves and there's been some right stand outs this year so here's my list of MVP's who have really stood out for me in a business that's full of so much talent! 1. Jay White Me and this blog have made no secret of the fact that Jay White is probably my favourite wrestler but it's not just my bias that's put him no.1 on this list - he's had a hell of a 2018! After coming back from excursion and losing his match against Tanahashi for the IC belt, he got back on course by joining Chaos and then beating Kenny Omega for the US title on the 28th January which he had great defences with against likes of Hangman Page and David Finlay. Even after losing the title, with the likes of the G1 wins

Wrestle Kingdom: Preview

Hi guys, After a long year of wrestling amazing wrestling from NJPW, we're nearly at Wrestle Kingdom 13 which is on January 4th and, after seeing the entire card, I am so excited to spend a whole morning in my PJs watching WK on NJPWWorld. I know there's been some controversy over the match build ups, due to vacant champs, but there have been some matches that have been built up perfectly. So, here's my look at the entire WK13 card and my predictions on who I want to win (it is a long post but bare with me)! No. 1 Contender Gauntlet for Never Openweight 6-man tag team titles I guess that the problem with a company that has so many amazing stars but not enough places on the card is that we're going to have wrestlers like Suzuki and Goto without main card slots. This Gauntlet is probably the best way to get some amazing stars on the show in some way... even if it's not idea. The teams have now been announced and apart from a few sad tears (I mean where the

NJPW World Tag League: Aftermath

Hi guys, We're at the end of another Tag League in NJPW and well on the way to the Tokyo Dome on January 4th for Wrestle Kingdom. Even though this was a long ass tour, with a lot of matches on different days, it was definitely one of those tours that I enjoyed watching. I didn't really know what to expect going in to this tour because of the changes they made to the system, like only having one block and things like that, but I made my predictions (which you can see at ) and really thought FinJuice was going to win... or even Best Friends (but you'll hear about why that failed later). Even though the tag league didn't go my way, here's a look at the tour in a bit more detail!  I never really liked the idea of a step by step look at each day of the tag league, so here are the most important bits and especially the matches you should definitely have a watch if you can! I think out of the whole tournament, it was the Suzuki Gun v Suzuki Gun matches which were
