Hi guys, I think I've already made it clear how excited I am for this year's Best of Super Jr tournament. However, in the midst of my excitement, I forgot all about the fact that it was a combined tour with World Tag League, probably because we didn't hear any announcements about the line-up - until now! Just like the BoSJ, this tournament is going to in a single block format and is full of some of your favourite tag teams in Japan. Hi guys, If I thought that the world was going to shit and the fact that I've been an anxious mess, trust New Japan to make me feel slightly better about myself. Last week, NJPW announced the line-up for their G1 Climax 30 and it was something that just put a massive smile on my face. I was worried about what ti would look like because nobody knew about who was going to be allowed into Japan and restrictions on travel. Hi guys, Recently, I've had a lot of spare time and that means I have a lot of free time to watch more wrestling and as always New Japan is a must. However, recently, I've noticed something that makes me sad during some of the shows. It's watching Taichi matches and hearing the sound of たいち わ かえれ (Taichi wa kaere) echo across the arena. I mean, I just don't get it.  Taichi isn't the Holy Emperor for nothing and I just think that he deserves more respect and adoration from the crowds. Hi guys, It's only been a week since the end of NJPW's Junior Tag League and we've already got the announcement for the next tour: World Tag League. For anyone who hasn't watched it before, it's basically the same as Jr Tag League but on a much bigger scale, with more teams and for heavyweights! It's always such a huge deal and the last major tour before the Tokyo Dome with some amazing teams participating, and this year is even bigger and better than before with teams from all factions and a lot of different promotions. Hi guys, We're just over halfway through the hottest tournament of the Summer and, by looking at some of the matches so far, it's crazy to think we're only this far in.  Normally I wait until the end of a NJPW tournament to write my favourite matches. However, with the calibre so high and so many amazing matches already, it would be rude of me not to do one already! (This will be all matches from the start to 24 July). Lance Archer v Hiroshi Tanahashi After the tournament, I'll do my usual MVPs of the G1 but this match will probably show one of the names on that list. After dropping matches to Kenta and Okada, Tanahashi had a lot to prove in the G1, especially as the reigning tournament winner. However, Lance Archer wasn't going to make this easy for the Ace of the Universe. Hi guys, We're almost half way through the 2019 and with Summer approaching, that can only mean one thing: NJPW G1. For those of you who don't know what the G1 tournament is, let me try and explain it in a nutshell: There are 20 men in two blocks of ten who fight against each other over a series of matches. The winners of the block (the one with the most wins) will battle each other on the final night. Whoever wins, gets a briefcase entitling them to a main event title match at the Tokyo Dome for Wrestle Kingdom the next year. Unlike other briefcases, the winner of this tournament can lose his opportunity before the title match takes place.
