Hi guys, I feel like I say this every few months or so, but sorry for being slow on the content but I'm here now! So many wrestling news sites focus on men's wrestling. As a female wrestling fan and journalist, I am ashamed to say that I am one of those people. Because of my passion for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, I look at my blog and see a lack of female presence and articles - this is something I want to change!  As a woman in the industry (both as a journalist and a trainee), I want to make Wrestling Chatter a place that celebrates women in wrestling a lot more because how can I expect equality in the industry if I'm part of the problem. From now on, I am going to try my best to make sure that there is a lot more content on women in wrestling. Hopefully, it can make a small difference and help make people more aware of the amazing female talent there is across the world! Hey guys, I had a list of options for this next blog post saved in my drafts but, after seeing a tweet that read 'Attention Male wrestlers: please stop wrestling women. Not only does it kill Kayfabe, you are basically saying it’s okay to hit women' I thought it was time to weigh up on this long arse debate that's been going on for years. Intergender wrestling is something that hasn't been seen in WWE constantly or really at all, except maybe a few like Becky Lynch v James Ellsworth, and who prefer mixed tag team matches where men fight men and women fight women. Yet, it's more popular on the independent scene and it's one of the most exciting kind of matches to watch! Maybe the person who tweeted the comment I started with probably thought that he was being smart or respectful by having this opinion and slating the whole concept of intergender wrestling by trying to 'protect women'. Hi guys, With news tonight 8and over the last few days, on new WWE signee's, it's got me thinking about how I feel about it and whether it's a good or bad thing.  It's been announced on Twitter that Ricochet, War Machine and Candice LeRae have all signed contracts with WWE a. I'm know all these stars, Ricochet from his amazing matches with Will Ospreay, War Machine and their amazing NJPW and WhatCulture tag matches matches and LaRae's intergender matches and her show with Joey Ryan. It means I've seen them performing at the best at a load of different wrestling promotions. It used to be the main goal for every wrestler to be signed with WWE and I guess it may even be the dream of these 4 superstars. However, I feel like nowadays, WWE is not the only way to get to the top of industry especially with the large amount of promotions all over the world. It's like some of the best wrestlers in the world aren't even in WWE and love what they do...
